Introduction To Portuguese Cuisine

Characterized by its use of seafood, olive oil, garlic and featuring an array of spices, Portuguese cuisine is a rich and flavorful one. The abundance of seafood is thanks to the country’s proximity to water and its lively fishing industry. Traditional recipes have evolved from the resourceful inventions of the country’s poorer ancestors, and are still popular today.
