Woodsmen Competition: A Primer

Call them lumberjacks, woodsmen, or timberathletes. One thing’s for sure: they know how to chop wood. A woodsmen competition is basically a competition for lumberjacks – who can chop, climb and saw fastest, who can throw an axe with the most precision. Competing both as a team and in singles events, college teams vary in seriousness, with many schools featuring varsity groups. In this video, WatchMojo.com learns about the different events in a woodsmen competition, and finds out how they are judged.
