Roller Derby is a brutal contact sport. To limit injuries, players must learn how to properly skate, hit, fall and basically play the sport before being thrust into a game. That's what boot camp is for. Basically auditions for derby hopefuls, girls get together and get rough on roller skates, learning how to check and 'booty block.'
