During this genocide, hotel manager Paul Rusesabagina saved 1,268 refugees by hiding them in the Hôtel des Mille Collines. Rusesabagina was portrayed by Don Cheadle in the 2004 drama 'Hotel Rwanda.' Today, the film is referred to as the African 'Schindler's List,' and his act was no less heroic.
