Winning the U.S. Audience Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, documentary film The Cove delves into the lucrative industry of dolphin slaughter. The piece chronicles a covert operation – made possible with the use of hidden and camouflaged cameras, as well as underwater equipment – that was undertaken despite potential danger to the crew involved.
