Talk about a makeover! Welcome to MsMojo and today we’re counting down our picks for the top 10 biggest celebrity body transformations.

For this list, we’re looking at famous people who drastically changed their bodies - whether it was temporarily or not.

#10: John Krasinski

Most of us probably know him for his role on The Office as the adorkable Jim Halpert. However, following that show’s run, John Krasinski seems to have ditched the office and hit the gym. In order to play former Navy Seal, Jack Silva, in the film 13 hours, John had four months to unleash his inner Schwarzenegger and get completely ripped. Although he had longer than 13 hours to acquire his new set of muscles, doing all that in just 4 months is still very impressive! And in 2017, it was clear that John was still enjoying life in his new body.

#9: Drew Carey

Whether you’ve seen him on the hilarious Whose Line Is It Anyway? or The Price Is Right, Drew Carey’s always been known to be the hilarious, quick on his feet, overweight jester of TV. But even though Drew’s always joked about his weight in his stand-up, it posed serious threats for him, and he eventually decided to change his life in 2010. Through diet and exercise, Drew eventually landed himself at a healthy weight, and he’s even claimed that his weight loss cured his type 2 diabetes!

#8: Melissa McCarthy

Even though Melissa McCarthy’s essentially been typecast as the funny overweight girl in most of her roles, her size eventually got to the point that she decided it was time for a positive change. She eventually lost an impressive 75 pounds. Her weight loss has been accredited to a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet, regular exercise, and in her own words, “a super boring life” where she goes to bed at 7:30pm. Whether or not going to bed super early is really the key to losing weight, the overall routine seems to have worked wonders for Melissa!

#7: Wendy Williams

Slow and steady wins the race, and that seems to be exactly how it all unfolded for Wendy Williams. Over the course of 3 years, Wendy dropped over 50 pounds! After having struggled with her weight since childhood and trying every fad diet going, everyone’s favorite shock jockette credits her amazing new body to diet, exercise, and most of all, self-control. Aside from dropping meat, she also decided to stop eating refined sugars and dairy products, and makes sure to stop putting food in her mouth once the sun goes down. However, Wendy Williams is a great example when it comes to both patience and progress.

#6: Sam Smith

Known all over the world for the beautiful his beautiful crooning on hit songs like Stay with Me, Sam Smith has also come to be known for his incredible weight loss. Although some go all out in order to lose the unwanted fat on their body, Sam has said that he’s “just not eating like a pig anymore.” While his vocals may be smooth as butter, it looks as if Sam Smith has dropped butter, and over 40 pounds! Along with dieting, Sam also took up yoga and weight training to achieve his results.

#5: Jonah Hill

Although this actor is not afraid to let his size be the butt of the joke, he’s proven to us on more than one occasion that he’s capable of sliming down. Although Jonah Hill’s been in a back and forth battle with his fluctuating weight over the years, it would be a crime to not recognize his progress. Like many people, exercise and diet are the keys to Jonah’s weight loss. And, hey, having the world’s beefiest teddy bear, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, helping you drop the pounds has gotta help too!

#4: Chris Pratt

So many people have gone from fat to fit, and that means you can too if you really put your mind to it. Hell: even a guardian of the galaxy was a bit tubby at one point in his life. After being told he was too fat to have a role in Moneyball, Chris Pratt made it his mission to lose his chub and he did! He sent a photo to the director detailing his progress and he booked the part! Although his weight has shifted throughout the years, it seems like things are only looking fit as of late.

#3: Adele

Despite making it clear that she’s very comfortable with her figure and that she isn’t trying to lose any weight, it seems as if the Hello singer has finally said farewell to some undesired weight. After a 3-year hiatus, Adele surprised the world with her new slimmer shape. Although she hasn’t told the world exactly how much she’s lost, the transformation is obviously significant. She credits her weight loss to diet and exercise. To go into detail, she’s taken up foods that regulate her metabolism, and cut out a lot of sugar. She’s also committed to a rigorous workout regimen, courtesy of her longtime trainer, Pete Geracimo (jare-ah-SEEM-oh).

After being lampooned by the public as the fat Kardashian for years, Khloe decided it was time for a change. While she could have gone the easy route and turned to plastic surgery, it seems like this Kardashian has devoted herself to losing weight traditionally. Following her divorce from Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian made it her goal to achieve what she calls her Revenge Body. Through diet and exercise, Khloe lost 40 pounds and as of 2017, it seemed as though she’d attained that revenge bod she’s been dreaming of.

Jennifer Hudson is known for a voice so big it can fill any venue, and for winning an Oscar with her debut film role. However, you know what she says she’s most proud of? Her remarkable weight loss. Both a wonderful singer, and at one point in her life, the spokesperson for Weight Watchers, Jennifer has shed over 80 pounds through hard work and the help of that weight loss company. While juggling the birth of her son and the deaths of multiple family members, she was still able to power through, lose the weight and get healthy – she should be proud!
