Born February 5th, 1985 in Madeira, Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro grew up playing football, and was an impressive athlete by age 10. However, at 15 a heart problem almost ended his career before he made his mark, but surgery allowed him to continue onto greatness. From there, he eventually joined the ranks of Manchester United, where he became a legend – despite his reputation for individualism and rumors he wanted to play elsewhere.
