Two hundred years ago on August 3rd, 1811, brothers Johann Rudolf and Hieronymus Meyer from Aargau, Switzerland, climbed the 1st 4,000 meter peak in Switzerland, the Jungfrau mountain. 2011 marks both the 200th anniversary of this historic ascent and the 150th anniversary of Swiss mountaineering specialist MAMMUT. The company is commemorating these extraordinary jubilees by organizing the Anniversary Basecamp and kicking off the Biggest Peak Project in history on August 3rd, 2011! In this WatchMojo.com Presents video, we check out the camp's highlights and see how the teams are tackling the climb.
