The Sport of Rugby: Rules

The Sport of Rugby: Rules As in football, rugby players are required to be both graceful and fearless. In fact, some say rugby is a cross between soccer and football, but frankly that doesn’t do the sport justice. It has speed and agility, plus some bone crushing hits. Players need stamina and ball handling abilities, and also need to work together as a team. One of the most important rules to remember is: No forward passes. So teams use kicking, running and backward passing to try to get the ball down the field. In this video, WatchMojo.com speaks with the Montreal Wanderers to learn more about the field, the team and the rules of Rugby.
