2. Self-righteous indignation will go nowhere.
3. When becoming an elite-level member of the frequent flier program, read up on your perks.
4. Be prudent when offering suggestions to airline employees on how to solve your problem.
5. This one is sent special from reservations: Please do not call from bars, casinos, etc.
6. Airline policies are not made up by employees.
7. Do not use previous experience with the airline as a weapon if you don’t get your way.
8. Seat assignments and/or boarding priority are not a tangible part of your fare (unless you’ve paid extra for it).
9. If it’s expensive, important, or hard-to-replace, carry it on or leave it at home
10. Pay attention.
