World Wide Web

The World Wide Web is the greatest and fastest growing library ever. Whatever you thought was impossible, it is now within reach thanks to the computer first, and the WWW second.

Webisize Your Class

All of your classes will entail some interaction with the Web. What you should do from day one is integrate the Web into everything that you do.

If You Build It, They Will Come…

One thing that all students should undertake is to create a personal website while in school. Many of you will either have to or will choose to do so in a class, but not all programs mandate it. And a Geocities or Tripod site does not cut it after you graduate, but it is fine while you are enrolled in school.

Not only will building a website improve your technical skills; it will encourage you to continuously improve your products and services over the years. The best websites are works in progress, as are the best products and services.

The Web is just growing up.
