College
Dating: Relationships
Eureka! You have found that one
guy or girl who truly stands out. Now what?
Game
Of Chess
Although
it may seem counterproductive, rule number
one is not to make the first move. This
is not to suggest that you should be passive
and antisocial. Just do not serenade anyone
during the first week of class. In other
words, do not put all your eggs in one basket.
Rule #1 in Finance
(and hunting for a partner): diversify.
Drop
Hints
Make
sure it is not obvious that you have interest
but make them curious about it. The more
they think that chemistry exists, the higher
the likelihood that you will be getting
extracurricular physical education soon.
If
you socialize together, keep in mind that
relationships can be purely platonic and
nothing else.
What
Are Some Hints That They Are Interested?
Male
students often feel that unless she is licking
her lips, running her hands through her
hair and melting before you, she is not
interested. Guys, this ain't a shampoo commercial.
If she goes out of her way to approach you,
invites you out and seems to be warm with
you, take these as solid signs.
Female
students often have to deal with guys who
are interested in many people and cannot
discern between legitimate interest and
drunken
horniness. Put it this way: if he is only
interested when his liver is marinating,
then do not take him seriously. However,
if the male drops everything for you, then
this is a great sign.
Eventually,
you get to go out on a date,
now what?
