Long Distance

Long distance relationships can work very well, but only as long as both people are 100% committed. You do not get crowded or suffocated by each other but absence does not necessarily make the heart grow fonder, so understand that the odds are not in your favor.

People cherish what they have when they lose it. When they have one thing, they want something else.

Since we are rolling out clichés, another one is "out of sight, out of mind." As a result, so long as you regularly exchange emails, phone calls, make the journey to see one another and exchange pictures, the long distance relationship can work.

In fact, not having the two worlds collide can even work out to your benefit. But if you are both in the dark and are seeing other people, then obviously in the long-term you will face challenges.
