College Life: Dating

Friend Or More

Both men and women often make the mistake of coming across as a good friend and nothing more. You think you are getting close, but you are on the wrong level. Do you wish to be the person that they confide in when they are interested in someone else or do you wish to the source of their admiration? In order to become the latter, remain mysterious and reserved. Curiosity will get the better of them and the rest is like taking candy from a baby.

Voice Some Interest

All of this is find and dandy but inactivity will get you nowhere. Once you sense that chemistry, one of you has to be bold and voice some interest. Just leave the serenation to the drama students.

Let The Other Person Be In Control

There is a chance that the other person is hesitant to test the waters with you because they have a troubled relationship history. They may even have someone back home for them and do not wish to embark on something with you. What do you do? Take a step back.

After all, the more you go after them, the more you will push them away. Let them know that you understand and respect their situation. As trite as it may sound, if it was meant to be, they will come to you.

Who knows, they might even be in a long distance relationship with someone else.
