No
one needs to warn you about the potential
dangers of partying.
You should understand them.
While
it is fun to go crazy and put on a show,
it is not cool to do something stupid that
will hurt another human being in a physical
and psychological manner. Be it rape or
sexual abuse, nothing good comes out of
it.
Independent of what the dare, drive, urge
or lack of judgment is, remember one thing
if you are ever in a position to make the
biggest mistake of your life: think of your
sister, your mother, your girlfriend –
you get the idea.
If
you happen to be female, remember that nothing
and no one can ever justify a crime. And
this is what sexual harassment and rape
boil down to.
So
do not be shy and speak up so that no one
else endures what you have gone through,
regardless of whether or not you happened
to be drinking
or not.
