Known as the fastest woman on ice after she won two gold medals in the 500m speed skating event at the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympic Games, Catriona Le May Doan is a member of Canada’s athletic elite. Since she retired in 2003, she has become a sought-after motivational speaker and been inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame.
