Clara Kramer: Life After the Holocaust

Clara Kramer spent two years as a teen hiding from Nazis in her home town of Zolkiew, Poland. She and her family lived in a bunker, waiting for salvation and hearing the atrocities that were befalling their neighbors on a daily basis. They were eventually released, but their happiness at making it through was bittersweet; Clara Kramer and family had lost friends, family and the town they called home. In this video, speaks with Kramer to learn more about her time in hiding, what it was like once she was released, and to find out what lessons she learned from her time during the war.
