All About ATVs
Operated much like a motorcycle, all-terrain vehicles – or ATVs – usually have three or four wheels for more stability on a wide range of terrain and are steered with the handlebars. Racing models of the vehicle, unlike recreation models, are designed for performance, rather than utility. Races generally involve a series of obstacles, including hill climbing, creek crossing and dirt roads. In this video, WatchMojo.com chats with a professional ATV rider to learn how it differs from other extreme riding, what is involved in the training process, and we find out more about the inclusive and friendly nature of the sport.
