Born September 16th, 1956 in Metuchen, New Jersey, David Copperfield loved music even as a child. He started performing in his first shows as a teenager and soon landed his own TV show. Following its success, he was hired for a series of annual specials known as "The Magic of David Copperfield" that brought him worldwide fame. His most popular stunts include flying and vanishing the Statue of Liberty. By taking his illusions to Broadway and Las Vegas, Copperfield has become the most commercially successful magician of all time.
