in: hosted by Rebecca Brayton

The History of the World Wildlife Fund Founded on April 29th, 1961, the World Wildlife Fund or World Wide Fund for Nature, began as an organization to protect endangered animals. It has since expanded its mission to include the conservation of forests, marine life, natural habitats, maintenance of biodiversity and the reduction of climate change. This charitable foundation has strived to do good for our planet, though it also has its share of detractors. In this WatchMojo.com video, we take a look at the history of the WWF.
