Born May 26th, 1926, Miles Davis was a jazz musician, famed trumpeter and bandleader of the Miles Davis Quintet. Not only that, but he was highly significant in terms of the history of jazz, as he helped develop a variety of jazz styles. He is now a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and even decades after his death, Davis is considered one of the most influential musicians of the twentieth century.
