Zelda Skyward Sword is the swan-song for the diminishing Wii console, and it arrives on November 20th. Yup, that’s right in time for the holiday season, and thankfully it won’t be getting pushed back as a launch title for the Wii U (something that happened to Twilight Princess). As you can see by the above photo, this Zelda title continues the longstanding tradition of draping the release in gold (nothing will ever compare to the reflective gold cartridges on the NES), as well as providing some extra goodies. Monotron’s music is full of “Commodore 64!!!!”
For someone who was born two years following the release of the Commodore 64 in 1982, I spent a lot of time growing up playing games on the system, and retain a heavy fondness for the computer-in-a-keyboard gaming device. Heck, I probably remember all the lines of codes necessary to get the games to run from its external floppy drive!
