Stop what you’re doing and watch this, it will blow your mind!
Hollywood could learn a lot from “Portal: No Escape.” This is a video game film done right, and could have gone well beyond its 7 minute run time. It’s a fresh take on the game, with its own major plot twist and compelling visual effects. Simply put, this is how its done and I want to see more. So move over Mortal Kombat, Prince of Persia and all of those other forced adaptations…make room for Chell and her never-ending struggle to free herself from the experiments of the computer AI called GLaDOS. Watch the flick after the jump… continue reading...
The airspace over the battlefield is filled with jets locked in dazzling arial combat.
Back in the day, I was a PC enthusiast and spent way too much money and time on building a gaming rig. The drawback was that it became too expensive to keep current. However, the advantage was that I was able to play Battlefield 2 on max settings. Let me tell you something, Battlefield 3 makes me wish I had the coin to play something other than my aging Xbox 360. Check out the trailer after the jump… continue reading...

Holding your breath with anticipation for Rocksteady’s Batman Arkham City? Me too…. However, we just may have another wildly imaginative and enjoyable Batman title on our hands. Even if you did, there is no way you caught this Easter Egg that can only be uncovered by playing the video backwards! Run 90s Sonic! Don’t let your awful future catch up with you!
Sega has announced yet another Sonic game is on the way, another so soon? Yes, you see…its easy to produce a new video game sequel every year when you focus exclusively on quantity….and “speeding” through the necessary stages of game quality testing (pardon the pun). Anyways, the next Sonic game is called “Sonic Generations”, and seeks to merge the fan-favorite 2D side-scrolling levels of the past with the atrocious 3D levels of the past decade and a half. The most interesting part of this game, at least for me, is that it will see no love for Nintendo’s platforms. Learn more after the jump… continue reading...
This is one fight the blue bomber has already lost.
Mega Man Universe is a game that we had been highly anticipating since its stop motion animated teaser trailer was released last year. However, development on the game did not go as planned and Capcom just announced that it has been canceled. Sorry PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers, the blue bomber’s 2.5d adventure is a gaming itch that you may never get to scratch. continue reading...
