Back in the day, I was a PC enthusiast and spent way too much money and time on building a gaming rig. The drawback was that it became too expensive to keep current. However, the advantage was that I was able to play Battlefield 2 on max settings. Let me tell you something, Battlefield 3 makes me wish I had the coin to play something other than my aging Xbox 360. With a release date in September 2010, this game has attracted a lot of attention for many reasons: the exclusivity of 2K Sports is finally being challenged; Wayne Gretzky is both the cover athlete and an in-game player; and – perhaps most importantly – the game is played with a lifelike miniature hockey stick peripheral that brings a little realism to gameplay.
