Halo 4, exclusively for the current Xbox generation. Who would have thought this would happen?

Okay so here’s the deal, Halo 4 is rumoured to be headed for a Q4 2012 launch. This signals to us that Microsoft will wait until just afterward in 2013 before daring unveil its next platform. Why take the attention off of the next piece of hardware with a game as massive as Halo for the Xbox 360?
As you may know, 343 Industries has taken over the reigns of the series from Bungie, and has proven themselves to be faithful to the quality fans are used to. What’s not known is how much more gorgeous the graphics can get on the Xbox 360, and how this will square against Nintendo’s upcoming Wii U plans… will this make the Wii U look even less attractive as an option? Many may just wait it out for the next Xbox as they are still receiving AAA games on their old mainstay…
Incidentally, 343 Industries has today released its remake of Bungie’s 2001 classic “Halo: Combat Evolved” and given it an Anniversary subtitle.This includes all new HD graphics, the old graphics engine underneath (it can be toggled on and off), Kinect and 3D TV support, and brings back the online features with updates. The standard Xbox version had previously been cut off of Xbox Live support, along with that entire generation of games…
