Everyone loves The Leged of Zelda games. But not even the ability to play a magical Ocarina can give you the slightest clue concerning the chronological order of the Zelda series.
See, each Zelda game involves a different time and a different , albeit similar hero. Personally, I always just assumed that each game (with the exception of direct sequels) where just alternate realities. Oh well, guess its a new Link each and every time.
Offering a clue as to where the upcoming Skyward Sword sits in the timeline, producer Eiji Aonuma has vaguely revealed where the the game is placed.
Basically, Skyward Sword takes place before Ocarina of Time. Why is this significant? Well, the Skyward Sword turns into the Master Sword at the end of the game…. meaning that Skyward Sword pre-dates all games with the Master Sword.
Sounds kind of epic right? I wonder who the villain will be seeing as Ganondorf/ Ganon only reared his snout later on…
