If you’re like me, then you may be relying on a paltry 20GB hard drive for your Xbox 360. While it’s more then enough for game saves and downloading content, demos and one or two full game installs, it really does pale in comparison to larger drives and requires constant data management.
Well check this out… it seems that Microsoft is ending it’s reign of storage terrorism which it has long conducted with expensive proprietary memory devices and hard drives.
According to Joystiq, you may soon be able to use your own cheap USB storage on the console. However, it does have a few kinks, as described by their article, in which they claim that you’ll be able to use up to only two devices with 16GB of storage each. This means that you’ll have only an additional 32GB to play with. Still, better then what I have now!
Joystiq has also hinted that a slimmed down Xbox 360 motherboard image has been found illustrating the possibility of a slim downed version of the system without the two face-plate memory unit slots.
I guess this is great news for people who have been jumping on the Arcade Console package that has been retailing for under $130
In this new Ad for the PS3 Move, the company has gone on the offensive. Taking place a few months in the future (November 2010). The ad goes on to say that the Move makes it big. It also mocks the controls of the Wii and laughs at the Xbox 360’s Natal device saying that it is only good for catching a big red ball and “Who want’s to play shooters with their hands, what is this the third grade?!”
Harsh, but funny!
Video games have a hilarious history of meshing bizarre concepts to achieve a style and sense of humor that just tickles the senses. I for one prefer fantasy in my games, while others prefer hard aged reality. No game blends the two better then 1999’s Arcade classic turned Nintendo 64 title Cruis’n Exotica.
In the game you get to drive realistic cars in the most unrealistic settings imaginable, while the most awesome music blares through your Television speakers!
These outrageous tracks include The underwater City of Atlantis:
And an Amazon filled with Dinosaurs!
Of all the Nintendo 64 Games I would still buy, this one is at the top of my list. I’d kill for a high-def sequel. It’s all about racing a police car through space and on Saturn’s rings while Martians blast Earth in the background!
