With so much riding on the success of Project Natal, Microsoft isn’t taking any chances…
Despite previous reports of a $150 price tag, Natal will be unleashed with a mass adoption strategy in mind (unlike my poor old HD DVD add on drive). As such, you can expect to pay a mere $50 to get the high tech 3 camera device for motion gaming. If you don’t already own an Xbox 360 console, you will be delighted to hear that Natal will be included in every console package going forward once it makes its debut.
We all already knew that Microsoft was serious about the motion tech, but this has caused analysts to predict a 5 to 1 sales victory over Sony’s motion wand (now called “Arc”). After seeing the tech demos and assuming the product performs similarly, then I think Sony and Nintendo should worry quite a bit…
