Growing up I would always spend the weekends at my cousin’s house. We played the good old NES and yes, even back then you had to blow on the cartridges to get them to work.
One game that always confused me was “Street Fighter 2010″, I had been familiar with Street Fighter 2 through the arcades and eventually the 100 versions of the same game (Speaking of which, is it just me or did they skip from Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo to Street Fighter 4, what happened to Street fighter 3?).
Anyways, the newest Angry Video Game Nerd review made me laugh chocolate milk and therefore you should see it as well, preferably while drinking milk of the chocolate variety. Oh yah, and he pretty much sums up my thoughts on how 2010 isn’t what we thought it would be.
Follow the link to the trailer and full video. Click with caution, the Angry Video Game Nerd is for mature audiences only (as he uses a lot of bad words and is angry). Enjoy!

Here is the trailer…
All of the recent hoopla surrounding Capcom’s second-guessing the vitality of the Nintendo platform is starting to raise eyebrows, and in Nintendo’s case moustaches.
Nintendo recently joined forces with Team Ninja to create a more violent Metroid game, Metroid Other M, to follow up the Prime series (which is referred to as the Citizen Kane of game design).
Does this mean that the days of Nintendo focusing on cuddly characters and Italian mascots is going to take a back seat? Let’s face it, every console needs its own take on God of War and Halo. Plus Nintendo’s Wii sales have dramatically cooled in the wake of more mature franchises flooding the Xbox 360 and the PS3, as well as the new respectable price of The PS3.
Nintendo once looked like it was going to honestly try to compete in the mature market in the early goings of the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube with violent hits such as GoldenEye, Perfect Dark and Geist.
Since I’m going there, let me just voice my continued distain for the fact that Nintendo sold Rare Ware to Microsoft.
I am upset for two reasons. 1st, they produced premium mature-rated content (Conker’s Bad Fur Day is still the best M-Rated Comedy title to date). And 2nd, Microsoft hasn’t a clue how to incorporate Rare into their gaming strategy. The Xbox 360 is already too saturated by M and Teen-rated games for Rare to make a splash.
Anyways, just for funnzies you should check out this hilarious commercial of an edgier Nintendo according to the 90’s. Wow, that’s two decades ago already! I’m getting old!
