Gambling away money seems to be the last thing on peoples’ minds these days, and the effects are showing in the gambling hub, Atlantic City. As many as five of the eleven casinos in the area could wind up filing for bankruptcy this year, and hundreds ofworkers have been laid off. Plans for new casinos have been shelved, and even the Donald - Mr. Trump - himself is hoping to sell off one of his three Atlantic City properties. 2008 is the second year in a row that Atlantic City revenues dropped, after 28 years of increases.
