For the most part, train travel is pleasant - at least much more so than the subway. However, there are exceptions to that: for example, the train that passes around the end of the school day is full of loud and disrespectful teens. And don’t even get me started on last week, when some woman asked me to turn down my iPod because it was irritating her. These experiences must be universal, because Australian designer Hamit Kanuni Kuralkan has designed a train with personal pods that seat one, for the ultimate in isolated train travel.
