The head of a 3,000-year-old sculpture of Pharaoh Ramses II has been discovered in Egypt. The head is said to have belonged to a giant sculpture that once stood in the area, about 50 miles northeast of Cairo. The figure’s nose and beard are missing, but otherwise the sculpture is in good condition, despite its age. Archaeologists are still searching the area for the rest of the statue.
