According to the final report crash investigations that came out today, captain Sully Sullenberger may not be as amazing as we thought. Sullengerger became a hero when he landed US Air Flight 1549 safely after they hit some birds and lost power months ago, but according to the crash investigations he should have actually landed the plane at the airport.

Canada is home to a large quantity of oil sands, otherwise known as tar sands. It is only recently that these particular oil reserves became available to the world, because of the intense effort and energy expenditure required to mine it. Enormous amounts of water are also required to mine the tar sands, and so fresh water reserves in the area are dwindling.
