Kevin Smith use to be best known for the movie Clerks, Cop Out and Chasing Amy, but today he’s known as the guy who was too big to fly!
And according to Smith’s twitter page on Sunday, he is not happy about it! Smith tweeted, “I’m way fat, but I’m not there just yet,” and “If you look like me, you may be ejected from Southwest Air.”
Southwest says its “Customer of Size “policy requires “that travellers must be able to fit safely and comfortably in one seat or make other arrangements.”
Which if you ask me makes perfect sense! I have, on so many occasions, shared my seat with someone who didn’t help pay for my plane ticket. On those same flights I have been charged a fee for having a too-heavy suitcase… but Smith is famous so SouthWest did issue an apology.
