Starting out on a skateboard, and eventually adapting that to snowboarding, Seth Wescott is an American snowboarder. As far as snowboarding is concerned, Wescott is a familiar name. He has competed and medaled multiple times at the X Games, and he won Gold at the 2006 Turin Olympics in the inaugural run of Snowboard Cross. Wescott is even credited with helping to bring that sport into the mainstream. To keep things interesting in training, Wescott is dropped by a helicopter for ‘first descents’ down various mountains.
