To be young and making friends!
This is one of the cutest clips you’ll ever see online, especially if you’re a martial arts enthusiast. I’m a 2nd Degree Black Belt in the sport, and I find it all that much amusing seeing these kids swinging those kicks in an actual competition setting. They can’t be much older than 5 years old, but they fight with such youthful ferocity! Check out the video after the jump! continue reading...

This guy is a legend. San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson not only has the most badass beard in baseball, but he’s got one of the more bizarre senses of humor in all of pro sports. Check out this September 3rd interview with Jim Rome where he claims he’s a ninja, defends his orange spikes and references his imaginary friend “The Machine”… This interview is an instant classic: continue reading...
If you didn’t read it, Yankees fan Lady Gaga caused quite a stir at a Mets game a few weeks back when she flipped off a photographer, and then got moved over to comedian Jerry Seinfeld’s private box at Citi Field (which he wasn’t using). continue reading...
Oakland Athletics pitcher Dallas Braden, the subject of increased (media) scrutiny after his well-publicized jawing match with Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez (which inspired one guy in my fantasy league to rename his team “GET OFF MY MOUND!”), pitched the 19th perfect game in MLB history on Mother’s Day.
As such, he became something of an overnight sensation, as tossing a perfect game almost completely chumped all the people idiots on all the message boards who were responding to his perfectly legitimate beef with the game’s most arrogant player by saying things like “this guy is a nobody” and “who’s Dallas Braden?” Yesterday, he hopped from the sports pages to the big time, performing David Letterman’s Top Ten list. As the title of this post reads, Dallas didn’t play all that nice. continue reading...
For those who don’t enjoy watching football, the half-time show and the commercials make it worth it all!
We all look forward to see what the brands who have spent millions for minutes of air time have come up with.
There are some commercials, however, that you won’t be able to watch on TV as they were deemed too hot for the big game! continue reading...
The students at Olathe Northwest High School’s prank backfired when they attempted to pull a prank on Joel Branstrom, one of their science teachers and the girls basketball coach. The plan was to have Mr. Branstrom shoot a half-court shot blindfolded. The students promised him NCAA Final Four tickets if he made the shot. Beforehand, the student assembly was instructed to applaud like crazy after his shot attempt to make Mr. Branstrom believe that he had made the shot, as they all expected him to miss. Mr. Branstrom, however, actually made the shot!!
A just as surprising, but impressive shot was done when a news reporter was covering the story! Watch his swoosh below! continue reading...
