Fans of the Saints have to be the most patient fans out there. They had to wait over 4 decades, 4 replay challenges and 4 extra quarters to see their team off to the Super Bowl.
Saints fans are just as faithful as they are patient. They have endured hardships and slow recoveries both off and on the field in the past half-century,
In 2005 Hurricane Katrina damaged the Louisiana Stadium and stirred up rumors that the team would have to relocate, but after receiving offers to buy the team and protests from fans, owner Tom Benson decided to keep the team in New Orleans.
