Chris Johnson is the sixth NFL player to rush for more than 2,000 yards.

Three-time gold medalist Usain Bolt is considered the world’s fastest man.

What would happen if this Jamaican sprinter raced against the Titan’s running back? We will soon find out, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the two are scheduled to race in a race that will be to raise money for charity.

At last year’s world championships, Bolt ran the 100 meters in 9.58 seconds and the 200 meters in 19.19 seconds. At the 2008 NFL scouting combine, Johnson was timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.24 seconds.

It looks like it should be a good race!

Just when the Patriots looked like they were ready to take on everything that any team had for them, they must now face the biggest challenge of the season- a win without Wes Welker.

Patriot fans all held their breath on Sunday as receiver Wes Welker was carted to the locker room, in apparent agony, with a towel over his face after seriously injuring his left knee in a game in Houston.

Welker, who was injured when he tried to plant his foot after making a catch, tore both his anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament, a source close to the situation told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, but is scheduled to undergo more testing Monday.

How will the Patriots win without Welker whoo broke his own franchise record with 123 catches this season and racked up 1,348 yards receiving?

Rookie Julian Edelman is scheduled to play in the upcoming game against the Ravens. I would assume that the Ravens will focus on covering wide receiver Randy Moss in the wild card round.

Welker’s season is probably over, but does it mean that the Patriot’s season is as well? Let’s hope that Welker’s injury doesn’t affect the team like Tom Brady’s season-ending blow did in 2008.
