Brady had a sore shoulder after defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth of the Redskins landed on him in the second half of New England’s exhibition win over Washington on Friday.
It’s not time to start changing your fantasy football team yet. Brady called into WEEI’s Dennis and Callahan show on Monday morning and had little concern that his injury would have any affect on his game.
“I certainly am expecting [to be ready],” he told the radio show. “The hit that I took, I just fell awkwardly, and any time a 350-pound man lands on you, most people would be a little bit sore — which I was. But I’m really looking forward to this week and getting prepared for this game, and then Buffalo is right around the corner.”
