Of all the ugly stories, and there are many, that are slowly (or otherwise) emerging from the muck and ooze after the riots, looting, and overall MASSIVE CIVIL RIGHTS FAIL that was Toronto during the G20 last week, this is perhaps the worst.
If you haven’t already hit play, the above video shows Amy Miller, an indie journalist from Montreal, describing her detention during last week’s G20.
(I started writing a detailed account of what Miller said/experienced, but got so mad I almost threw my computer at the wall. Just watch it and, if you can help it, don’t throw your computer at the wall. Warning: the details of Miller’s detainment will bother you.)
