Green Day have just released a behind-the-scenes look at their new video for “Know Your Enemy.” The clip, while short, gives a glimpse into what’s in store for fans in the forthcoming video. Cursive has now debuted the video for single “From The Hips” online, on the heels of their rousing network TV debut March 13th on the Late Show with David Letterman, which moved Stereogum to write “The Omaha outfit summoned an air of electricity from the sparse jags and soaring climax of Mama I’m Swollen’s lead single…As of now, Cursive is on fire.”  See below for the Michael Grodner-directed video, which premiered on MySpace last Friday.  Meanwhile, the band’s new album Mama, I’m Swollen continues to garner media attention, with Alternative Press calling it “jam-packed” with “potentially life-changing songs” and The Onion praising it as “full of volatility” and “dynamic instrumentation.”

MySpace Music has just premiered the video for “The Night” from hard-rock titans DISTURBED. The band enlisted director Noble Jones (3 Doors Down, Jack’s Mannequin) this time out and the clip’s stark imagery is fitting for the track’s dark guitar tones and brooding vocal melodies. Jones looked to classic sci-fi/horror movies like Alien and John Carpenter’s The Thing for inspiration and the results are haunting. continue reading...
