This is quite obviously a stunt to generate some interest in the band, but it’s pretty damn cool nonetheless. Atomic Tom, a Brooklyn NY based band, play one of their songs called “Take Me Out” on an NYC subway car using nothing but their iPhones… yes, it sounds dumb, but it’s actually quite a good performance! Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 2002, four-piece rockers Franz Ferdinand are always trying to get you to dance. Their first huge hit, Take Me Out, put them on the world’s radar in 2004, and they’ve consistently been producing toe-tapping, butt shaking winners ever since. Beside their names you often see the words ‘fashion icons,’ though the guys themselves are quick to laugh that title off. In this video, WatchMojo.com chats with denim-clad Alex and Paul from the band to learn about how they originally got together, and to find out how the music scene in Glasgow is different from that in Liverpool.
