I’ve always had a soft spot for Stone Temple Pilots, much of their earlier work is some of my favorite music from the 90’s, so its nice to see that they’re back together again(for what, the 3rd time?). It’s kind of a bummer then that the first single “Behind The Lines”, supposedly signaling their triumphant return, is so average. I mean, it’s catchy enough, and it’s fairly rocking, but it seems to me that Weiland and co. could probably write this song in about 10 minutes.
