Soft are a relatively unknown band out of NYC that seem dedicated to recreating the UK guitar based rock of the early to mid nineties in the vein of Stone Roses and Oasis… Thankfully they do it extremely well. The first single off their debut album Gone Faded is called “Droppin” and its a pretty good representation of their sound with shimmery guitars and airy vocals. It’ll be interesting to see how this band is recieved, but based on this song alone, I’m already on board:
