Jonas Brothers are set to release the Soundtrack to their new movie, “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” on February 24th, three days before the film is slated to hit 3D theaters across the nation. The soundtrack includes old favorites like “Hold On” and “S.O.S” as well as live performances with Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, a Shania Twain cover, and one new, never-before-heard studio recording called “Love Is On Its Way.” The highly anticipated film goes behind-the-scenes with Kevin, Joe and Nick on last year’s Burning Up Tour, following their every move along the way. The Veronicas are wrapping up their dates with the Jonas Brothers and heading out on the road with another trio of brothers. Lisa and Jess will hop on tour with Hanson for a slew of dates beginning September 21st in Dallas through October 7th in Alabama. he Veronicas are gearing up to release their sophomore album, Hook Me Up, in the US on August 26th! The eye-popping video for “Untouched” — the first single from Hook Me Up —earned the super-hot duo a performance on MTV’s TRL, which is airing August 20th at 11amEST. Also, Lisa and Jess recently announced that they’re hitting the road with the Jonas Brothers for a select string of shows later this month (tour dates below).
Hook Me Up represents a stylistic leap from the girls’ 2006 debut The Secret Life Of… by swapping the latter’s pop-punk leanings for Hook Me Up’s dance friendly, beat-driven feel. The album features a host of top notch hitmakers, including Shelly Peiken (Christina Aguilera), Greg Wells (Mika), John Feldmann (The Used, Good Charlotte), Billy Steinberg (Madonna), and their Secret Life collaborator Toby Gad, who also wrote Fergie’s 2007 hit “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” Hook Me Up has already achieved double-platinum status in the girls’ native Australia. continue reading...
