In a very Noel Gallagher-esque moment, guitarist Slash was tackled from behind by a rogue fan during a live performance in Italy last week. In fact, Slash takes it pretty well, he ends up slamming guitar first into a stage monitor but keeps it together and attempts to continue soloing. This is hilarious. MUSE went on Italian TV and were told that they had to lip-sync their song. MUSE then decided they’d switch up their instruments and singer Matt Bellamy ends up on drums, bassist Chris Wosltenholme is on guitar and syths and drummer Dominic Howard is on bass and lead vocals. Bellamy’s performance on drums alone is priceless, it seems the Italian audience has no idea whats up. Italy’s greatest musical export, LACUNA COIL, have returned with the massively anticipated, new full-length release, Shallow Life, which is set for an April 21st North American release. The album was recorded with acclaimed producer Don Gilmore (Avril Lavigne, Linkin Park, Pearl Jam) at the famed NRG Studios in Los Angeles. The group recently completed a stunning new video for the Active Rock smash hit “Spellbound” that was shot in their hometown of Milan, Italy.
