This was exactly how the Flaming Lips started the show that I saw them perform at. This particular performance is at the 2008 Motorokr Fest in Guadalajara, but it should give you a general idea of the insanity that is a Flaming Lips concert. The first 3 minutes of this clip involves lead singer Wayne Coyne crowd-walking while inside of a giant inflated ball, so if you want jump to the actual performance of “Race For The Prize” skip ahead to 3:40… but trust me, the crowd-walk is pretty awesome, plus don’t forget the 2 groups of dancing tele-tubbies, balloon drop and giant confetti shower!
