Born in the Netherlands, Esmée Denters was like many other teens when she decided to start uploading her vocal covers of some popular songs to YouTube. She was unlike many other teens in that she had tons of talent. Before long, she was discovered and quickly signed a deal with Justin Timberlake, becoming the first act signed to his label, Tennman Records.
