Land Of Talk have stayed below the radar in terms of major indie acclaim, but with their second album Cloak and Cipher they’ve continued their steady flow of high quality music. Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Elizabeth Powell is back and healthy again after suffering from damage to her vocal chords and she sounds better than ever. This song “Swift Coin” is a great song that starts with some jagged, buzzing guitar sounds that are quickly straightened out when Powell’s vocals kick in and propel the song forward. Land of Talk have announced a west coast tour beginning October 27th in San Diego, and running through November 7th in Vancouver B.C.. To complement to tour, the band will be releasing an EP with 4 new songs and 3 videos, entitled ‘Fun and Laughter’.
