U2 have just released three never before seen interview clips on MySpace Music, AOL’s Spinner, and The Wall Street Journal to coincide with the 25th anniversary of their creative breakthrough release, The Unforgettable Fire.

The largest rock band in the world sat down to discuss their favorite tracks from the album, what they really thought of their biggest single at the time, “Pride (In the Name of Love),” and what it was like working with Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois for the first time at Ireland’s Slane Castle for the making of this landmark album.

The recently re-mastered version of The Unforgettable Fire is now available everywhere in limited edition 2CD+DVD box set, 2CD deluxe edition, single CD and LP vinyl.

I’m not sure exactly what this says about Weezer… The band has unfortunately gone from nerd rock heroes in the mid 90’s, to comeback kings in the early 00’s, to mainstream poop-rock weirdos in the current musical landscape.  I can’t for the life of me figure out why they’d brand a retarded infomercial product with their band name, but I keep falling back on the answer that lead singer Rivers Cuomo must have had a mental breakdown in the last few years that has rendered him oblivious to right and wrong, up and down how to make meaningful music anymore…   Here’s hoping one day they can return to form, in the meantime watch the Weezer Snuggie Commercial and try and make sense of it all…

Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, The Stills are a rock band formed in the year 2000. The band members have known each other since the age of twelve, and have been in other bands previous to their success in The Stills. After playing for a crowd of 270 thousand opening for Sir Paul McCartney in 2008, the band is definitely on the upswing. 2009 saw the band win a Juno Award for Best New Band – three albums and nine years into their career together. In this video, http://www.WatchMojo.com chats with Tim and Liam from the band to learn about their beginnings as a band, and to find out more about the meaning of their songs.

Originally formed in 1985 under the name Majesty, Dream Theater is a band known for the skill of its instrumentalists.  What is unique about the band is that they use a rotational set list for their shows, meaning every show is different.  It also means the band needs to know a huge catalog of music for every concert they perform.  In this video, http://www.WatchMojo.com speaks with guitarist and founding member of the band, John Petrucci about the band’s most recent album, Black Clouds & Silver Linings, and we find out more about how Dream Theater’s song writing has evolved in their 25 years together.

Bon Jovi will perform “We Weren’t Born To Follow” at an historic event commemorating the 20th anniversary of the fall of Berlin Wall on Monday, November 9th in Berlin, Germany for the “Fest der Freiheit,” a commemorative event taking place at Brandenburg Gate.

In front of an enormous crowd, heads of state and global figures including Angela Merkel, Gordon Brown, Hillary Clinton, Dimitri Medvedev, Nicolas Sarkozy, Hans Dietrich Genscher, Mikhail Gorbachev, Lech Walesa and Nelson Mandela, Bon Jovi will perform their latest single, “We Weren’t Born To Follow,” an anthemic celebration of independence, dedicated to those who fight for freedom in the face of adversity.

In 1983, when Bon Jovi was formed, the Berlin Wall was the ultimate symbol of a divided world. The ultimate fall of the “iron curtain” in 1989 affected Jon Bon Jovi deeply. He recalls an exchange at Checkpoint Charlie in 1986 with a border official who looked to be the same age, and not too different in many respects, from the singer himself.  Three years later Jon chipped a piece of the Wall off and has kept it ever since.

“It’s a reminder that, while walls can separate us geographically, they can’t conceal the ways that we’re all human beings sharing similar dreams and desires,” he said.

See the “We Weren’t Born To Follow” video, featuring a salute to world leaders who have enacted change:

At 24 years old, Orianthi has already experienced what most aspiring musicians only dream of. She’s opened for her hero (Steve Vai), backed an Idol (Carrie Underwood), traded solos with a legend (Carlos Santana) and shared the stage with the King of Pop (Michael Jackson). What’s left to conquer? The world stage, for one, and this guitar wunderkind has her sights clearly set on the road ahead. Check out the interview she recently gave with the site LP33.tv:
